Stress Break Outcomes
340 individuals (~40% students and ~60% faculty, staff and others) registered for the Stress Break with participation from all 10 UC Campuses and beyond. The Stress Break resulted in improvement in depression and anxiety symptoms as well as positive emotion regulation over the 10 days, and the majority said they would return for another series!

Participant Quotes -
"I didn't really know much about meditation practices and this really helped inform me on those as well as creating a space for interpersonal connection." - UC student
"This offering reminded me of the value of taking a pause. It provided me with a much-needed space with which to sit with my feelings and try practices offered by the presenters. Since I participated with others, I felt a sense of community, which was extremely helpful. I can't thank you enough for offering these mini mindfulness sessions." - UC staff
"It helped me stay grounded, less anxious and more connected to others. It helped me sleep better. It also helped my children of 9 and 10 to be exposed to this content." - UC affiliate
